How much do I love the fact that the one US death from swine flu was at a Houston hospital? That's fantastic on so many levels, since I visit a couple of hospitals a day for rounds, consults, and surgery. I also love the people who think it's one big joke. Giggsy ate my prescription glasses yesterday. Like chomped the lenses and broke the frames in half. So I had to go to the optometrist in the mall and then EyeMasters (lol how much do I love having the sort of prescription post Lasik surgery where I can get cheap glasses made in a flash) and just got back with my new glasses. I worked a 14 hour workday today lol. Started out at The Woodlands for surgery at 7 am, then clinic at the Woodlands, and then back to Tomball for a surgery that started at 7 pm. Today's my first official day scrubbing in the OR. So I finally got my full on license today wahoooo. I've got my controlled substances number and am now applying for my DEA license. Work's going fantastically, I love all my docs so much and Dr. Mathis (who is my supervising doc and the one I'm with the most) said Dr. Hammit told him I was doing really well and was a really hard worker and stuff. : ( Read more... )
